Toledo Refining Company sits on more than 280 acres bordering East Toledo and Oregon, Ohio.
The refinery has a rich history dating back to 1895 when Diamond Oil Company transferred the property to the Sun Oil Company. With just fourteen acres and four stills, Sun Oil Company’s principal products were kerosene, gas oil and fuel oil. Since then, the refinery’s ownership changed hands and its capacity and products have grown immensely.
From its humble beginnings as Sun Oil Company, Toledo Refining has grown to become one of the largest taxpayers in the region and an institution in East Toledo/Oregon!
